Default RE: Trespassers

We actually had some trespassers putting out corn on our property. They had a homemade feeder, made out of a 5 gallon bucket and stuck in the ground with a spike. Luckily we found it before the season began and disgarded their feeder and put a nice little posted sign where the bucket was and stuck it in the ground with their spike.

One year we found where some gyus had climbed trees with foot spikes. Tracked out to their camp which was on some other property and gladly let them know they had been trespassing.

My dad had a guy shoot a deer on our property about 100 yards away from him and shot in his direction with a rifle. He confiscated the young 8 pointer in exchange for not calling the DNR.

Our biggest problem is guys setting their stands up on the property lines, with only one way to shoot and that is on our property. We gladly do all we can to make their hunting trips inconvenient by walking by them and making lots of noise.

Oh well, so far no problems this year but gun season is just beginning and that is when we get most of the problems.

Good luck to all this year!
