I'm not sure either I guess. But it doesn't hurt to see what he has to say. He seems like a pretty knowledgeable person, and just about anything is better than what the DNR was doing for a couple years there. I think the majority of hunters in the state will say they want to see 10+ deer every time they sit blah blah blah. When in reality, I'd say 75% of the hunters sit 2 or 3 days during the gun/deer season and they only sit for like 3 hours morning and night which is why they don't see any deer.

There's no real way they can "fix" it by making some statewide law or regulation. The deer herd in the southern part of the state is a lot different than the deer herd in the NW or NE. I guess if it was up to me, the state would be divided into 4 or 5 zones that made their own regulations to maintain a healthy deer herd that at the same time wasn't over populated.
