I own a small acreage and have had trespassers on it several times. I live on the property also. I usually just run them off. Had a couple guys on 4 wheelers start running around the house after I ran them off. I decided it would be a good time to set up some cans and do some target practice with my 44 magnum. Another time I was eating lunch and a couple bowhunters came walking right through my yard. I went down to meet them and ask if they knew who' s property they were on? They said, probably yours? Good guess, now get! They did.

And finally, I would never hunt unposted land without the owner' s permission. In Iowa, the land does not have to be posted. Its still trespassing even if it isn' t posted. Please Obtain Permission. This comes from a frustrated land owner.
