picked up a good set of waders, blue bill dekes, magic mallard call tonight.
And, I have a dog that I trained years ago, and if I could just get him to settle down a bit in the blind (we can't whisper or move the guns, he knows it's bird time) he would be a great dog.

Went out last weekend, 10 birds between the two of us in only a few hours... Shooting #4 23/4 winchester (xpress I believe). I couldn't believe how many birds we just crippled and had to go out and shoot. We only folded about 3 birds with one shot.
Both using a Maxus with modified chokes... Has to be something we're not getting!
Went to the trap range last week, hit 23 of 25 in my first round in 14 years, so I'm pretty well on it, aim isn't the issue.
While cleaning the birds, most of the bb was hardly in to the breast muscle. Only 2 were found with internal injuries to the body, everything else was killed via head trauma. They are like mini A-10s!
