I finally found a load my Knight .50 Elite loves, the Knight red hots, which are the Barnes 250 gr large hollow points in the all coppper bullet with their orange sabot which loads nicely. Especially nicely compared to the batch of barnes bullets I tried years ago with the black sabots which were pretty tight. I was a little worried when then went down easier since I/m using BH 209 (115gr measured) and a std ww primer. Without any fancy sandbags, just off my fanny pack they shoot 1 5/8 at 150 yards (my zero) and then from sitting at 200 with a high lung hold dropped right into the group. About 4 1/2" high at 75 yards. I'm gonna stock up on these for hunting, because this is the best accuracy I've found yet for this rifle. I've tried gold dots, buffallo ssb, hornady's plastic pointed and pistol bullets, and the barnes with black sabots. The rifle seems to like these best.
