I' m guessing the reason your arrow may have broken is that many times if you don' t get a complete pass thru and tuck one tight in behind the shoulder like you did, the deer' s first violent movement as it runs and it' s legs fly rearward will simply snap it off like a toothpick.
Then the broadhead end will simply fall out the other side. Sometimes you will wind up with the fletched broken end inside the chest cavity if that end actually makes it into the chest without going all the way through.
Congrats Again!! , and I' m not picking on you because god knows I had " more important things" on my mind at 15 yrs old than good sentence structure, but yeah it really wouldn' t hurt to apply some of that Junior High English class to your posts.......it' ll help out our Old Farts quite a bit.
