I was hunting in Texas a few years ago. I guy who was hunting on a property near me accidently shot 3 toms with one shot. Even though he didn't mean to kill all three with one shot, it was perfectly legal in Texas. You have 4 tags in Texas. If you want to kill all 4 birds in one day, that's up to you. In my home state of Louisiana, and in most states, you are allowed one gobbler per day.If you accidently kill two birds with one shot in most states, you just broke the law.
