I hunt from the ground with mine. I sight the scope in with the top line on at 20 yards. That's it. I'm done.

I've taken four deer with that setup in the last two years.

I don't get into all that "this line for ________and this line for _______" stuff. I set up my blinds and plan on taking no shot beyond 20-25 yards. Stream line your approach. Don't take shots longer than that yardage; sight in your scope using one line and one line only sighted for that specific yardage (anything shorter than that is going to work as well--and probably anything another 5 yards or so beyond is going to work. It's a good overall, solid distance to sight.)

Go from there. If you tree hunt, I'd also recommend sighting from that tree stand or at least being that same height up. I've never understand the concept of sighting in a bow standing on the ground and then hunting 20 feet up in the air. Sight your bow from 20 feet up if you're going to hunt that way.

Anyway. This approach has worked very very well for me.

I shoot Easton Powerbolts tipped with 125 NAP Spitfires. I get golf-ball sized groupings at 20-25 yards.
