Default Update?

I know this thread is a couple years old, and it's kind of stale, but I wondered about getting an update. I'm currently looking for an elk rifle. The three models I'm considering most seriously are the X-bolt, the A-Bolt, and the Rem. 700.

I'm a lefty and not finding any X-Bolts. There are several used lefty SS A-Bolts available, mostly in .338 win mag. The 700s can be found in a variety of calibers, both new and used. Clearly the selection is more limited for us lefties.

Now that the x-bolt has been out a while longer, what are you all thinking about them? I'm especially interested in the opinions of folks that own more than one of the models I am considering, as almost everyone is pretty happy with the rifle they have (which I think is a good thing).

I sure appreciate your input.
