I have a CVA Kodiak magnum and have killed a lot of deer with it over the years. My problem is I have yet to find a load that will give great accuracy at 100 yards or further. I currently shoot 300 grain jacketed bullets with crush rib sabots and push it with 70 grains of FF black powder. I know most people like to shoot heavier loads, but I have never had a bullet that stayed in a deer, so I figured I had enough oomph.

I want to hunt with it in Western Kansas next year where shot of 150 yards can be expected.

Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.
