Anybody using blackhorn in a 45 cal? Cant find much data other than people saying they are shooting it. They dont list data on their website and I know 45s build higher pressures but dont really have a idea on the burn rate of this powder. Bullet weights will be in the 200-225 grain range. Nate I shoot a lot of 40-200 grain bullest from my 45 DISC rifles. I have used both BH and T7. I continue to use T7 only because it is so much less expensive per shot to shoot and I shoot a lot.
My base load is 110 grains of t7-2f a Lehigh .40-200 grain bullet. Other 40's that have shot well for me are the Speer 40-180 grain Gold Dot and the Hornady 40-200 XTP. The are also some very good pointy bullets on the market that shoot well also but I am not a fan of the pointy bullets so I shoot very little of them.

Since you are going to shooting a Knight all of these loads are acceptable.
