I'm not really recoil sensitive. My current .300 Win. Mag. only weighs 8.15lbs with scope, and after a few shots I was pretty much used to it.
I wouldn't think a 6 to 6 1/2 lb .270 Win. or .280 Rem. would bother me.

I could be wrong. Never had a chance to shoot a rifle that light. Sure would be nice to lug around though.......
