I don't blame you for using whatever gun you think gives you the best chance. There's nothing wrong with reserving the sidelock for a little fun plinking and target shooting.
I agree 100%. I much like you don't get to hunt near as much as I would like and because of that, I usally take a weapon I feel most comfortable with. Don't let close minded people change your ways.
