A few years ago my Dad was looking to get me a muzzel loader for christmas and I hinted at a traditional style. He called Traditions and had a 20-30 min conversation with the rep and ordered two inlines, one for me and the other to my step brother. After getting the scope close to sighting in (I ran out of time at the range) I took it off and put the open sight back on. But I will probably switch to a peep sight next year. Especially if I am unable to buy a sidelock by next season.
Without the scope it feels more friendly, but I still want a hammer on the side. Reacently a Jaeger caught my eye. So that might be one of my gaols to work towards.
