RE: Matt/PA-Steve Jackson.... KE for the PREDATOR.
55,
stodr, is correct......That estimate that I gave you of like 57# of KE is pretty much what you are stuck with unless you can lighten your string load a bit to pick up a few more feet per second with the same arrow weight.....
You can't up the draw weight, draw length, and lowering your arrow weight won't help.....so that's your only option.
If you're hunting Moose, don't go any lower in arrow weight(if anything go HEAVIER!).....that's a big critter and you're gonna need the KE AND the Momentum to get thru it.
Do yourself a favor and ask 5-Shot what "Cut to Tip" style head he recommends.......The "Steelforce" should be fine for whitetails, but his testing has shown athough super sharp out of the package, they are actually pretty fragile, and that the tip is very prone to curling upon impact with a hard surface.......Not sure how tough moose ribs are, but I'd want the TOUGHEST head I could find if I was hunting them myself.
Sorry I can't really change that KE too much if you leave the bow as is, but if you get rid of a peep w/ tubing and any extra nock-sets, and either use no silencers or very light ones like "String Leeches"......you can pick up maybe as much as 10fps with the same arrow weight, and that might be enough to get you to that 60+ft/lb of KE mark, but now that you mentioned the 26.5" draw......don't count on it bud.
Trust me you can still kill a moose at 55ft lbs of KE or so.....get a STRONG broadhead, razor sharp, and a heavy arrow, and put it where it counts......and it will do just fine.
