i wont lie i fell in the "rage trap" i even shot 5 deer with them too im not even gunna get into those stories i will just say they r not a top of the line broadhead and im sorry if u disagree with me but thats my opinion
i think most of us are talking from experience. i know i havent shot 10 deer with them, but i have shot 2 and i havent had problems. with a lot of mechanicals you are going to have people how love them and hate them. its just how it is. i myself was going to shoot thunderheads this year, but i didnt. i can say anyone who bought them, please test them before you go hunting. if i didnt i would have missed a deer this year because of premature deployment, yep i said it. it was because the little bolt in the middle was loose. i fixed it and shot them all and they seem to work fine. i can say though the orings brand new out of the box are WAY to stiff. keep popping the blades opening with your hands until they open easily, but not to easily they open in flight. anyone who shoots any mechanical should test them before carrying them in the field. if you they work for you, they are devastating on deer.
