yeah but in a '06 a 220gr bullet is huge. We only use 165gr boattails in our '06 and its no where near that low at 200 yards. Its about 7" low at 300 however. Just no need for a bullet that big unless its up close and personal hunting.
Yeah with a target as big as an elk and how good they stand out, with the right open sights, 200 yards is very easily done.
Just trying to be fair with a big bullet in the 06. I never used more than a 180 gr in mine. 150gr for deer.
I'll accept a 200yd shot with an inline scoped and a good charge and bullet. The PRB is dying at 200yds. Especially for elk.
I know you. I don't think you'd take that shot. Too much room for error.
