the better deal would be whatever fits into your price range... if you buy used, make sure that evrything is clean and not pitted... i have noticed in my area, alot of folks buy a MLer just to extend their hunting season and then do not clean it as they should. either by not knowing how or just not knowing that BP is corrosive in nature.
You obviously can usually find a great deal on used, and any of the knights would be a good buy.... as long as it was taken care of. if the MHC is in good shape, and price.. i think you will like it. My rule of thumb is usually, if it doesn't save me 30% or more... I will buy new!!! But, factor in the lehigh conversion as well.. but, you may like the disc and not want the conversion... definitely don't have to have it.
I believe the lehigh conversion will fit the MHC, but may have issues with tolerances on some of them.. if i remember correctly..
