I really don't see the point of installing a flash suppressor on a deer hunting rifle anyway. The crown itself is what protects the muzzle of the barrel.
It would be dangerous because you couldn't keep it centered with the bore.
And the bullet might hit it and Whamo blown up gun.

You can get one that opens, and closes.
