Smith - I'm curious why you would want to get a metal trigger guard made. It's your money so you can do whatever you want. But....the trigger guard is actually a polymer and is really tough. You have to consider that a lot of handgun frames are now made of a similar material. And really, how much abuse does a trigger guard take?
