I would guess the low drags were to loose for that rifle.. I think you will need a thicker sabot.... HPH-24 and if the barrel is old enough possibly even a HPH-12

out of 7 shots. 2 sets of holes with 2 bullets in them. same gun, with mmp 24 sabots loaded easily in the gun, almost had to be hammered down the barrel.
I am confused... which is nothing new.... you say the HPH-24 loaded easy - then had to be hammered down the barrel...

With the Pyro powder you mightr have to run a damp patch after the shot

So are you saying they loaded easily through the crown (muzzle) but need to hammered down the barrel???
