It appears as if the CDS dial worked the way it was suppose to work. Or at least it looks that way to me.
I also bought a scope with the CDS for my Knight LRH. However I have only been able to shoot mine at 50 yards off the front porch. My leg has been giving me trouble the last few days. So I have been unable to shoot at longer ranges. However I have no doubt it will work perfectly.
Is there a reason why you didn't order a new scope instead of spending over $200 to have your scope changed from a different reticle and new dial?? Or does the scope have some sentimental value??
Personally I sold my old VX-III with the B&C reticle for $400, and bought a new VX-3 4.5X14 with the CDS dial already on it for $480.
I hope to shoot at longer ranges before next Monday. And I want to make sure I get some pictures like you did. Tom.
