Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate it. and 25/06, I hear you about the ShockWaves. The ShockWave SuperGlides load easy in my Omega but the regular SW's are pretty tight and very hard to seat without swabbing between shots. I might try some offbrand crushed ribs & hollowpoints from the farm store also. Since I'll likely be shooting 50yrds and under from my stand in the woods, I may be able to get away with using the cheap ones this year. I can't see spending alot of money on them when they only need to be accurate out to 50yrds or so. The SuperGlides are nice though. I was getting 1" groups @ 100yrds with them shooting off a rest @ the range. I was impressed with the accuracy for sure. I'm sure I could've worked up a load that would group well out to 200yrds as well, but I just don't need that type of range where I hunt. I may even use my TC .50 Carbine part of the time this year. It is a great treestand rifle and I use my ML's during firearms season as well.
