Someone said that they hadn't seen any posts of the Mountaineer shooting at a 100 yards, so I went out this morning to get a couple shots in before school. I shot from 120 yards with 120 grains BlackHorn and the 250 gr Lehigh Bloodline bullet. I don"t have a Lead sled or any of that fancy stuff. I always sight in and practice the same way I hunt. So I was shooting from a Kneeling position off of a bipod. I would have preferred prone but the alfalfa is to high. Two shots and two dead deer. the Mountaineer is ready as far as I am concerned. I switched to winchester primers instead of federal and I never had a sticking problem since.
