Here is why he loves the 6-06.
Both loaded with 70 grain bullet.
6mm remington 3682 fps energy 2108 lbs
6-06 ackley 4132 fps energy 2655 lbs
with 450 more fps & 547 more lbs
the 6mm rem is not quite that good
