There are already drilled and tapped holes in the collar on both sides,if you take the screw off the outside collar and put it on the inside collar(opposite side of existing screw).You can now tie a string to this screw and serve it in,then serve the other end to the cable about an inch below the rest.

I just did this very thing to my 7 year old daughters bow and it works great.Had to do something to get vane clearance on those new 1214 arrows I bought her.


This actually works better than the original design.
