You can definitely put a rifle scope on that. I think you should get a variable, so you can turn it down for the muzzleloader and back up for the rifle. There is no difference really between a " muzzleloader scope" and a rifle scope. Just get a quality scope that gets good light. I have Burris scopes on my rifles, and they are awesome.
