Default 7mm Nosler Accubonds work well on Antelope.

My wife shot two antelope this morning. One was a doe & the other a buck. The buck was shot at 327-yards, he never took a step. The doe was shot at about 200-yards? We did not have time to use the rangfinder. The doe also droped on the spot. She was using a 7mm Remington Ultra mag. The ammo was handloaded with 86-grains of IMR-7828 topped with a 160 grain Nosler Accubond.

I shot one antelope buck. I used my 7mm STW with handloads. My STW was loaded with 79-grains of IMR-7828 topped with a 140 grain Nosler Partition. My buck also fell on the spot.

Both bullets left large exit wounds. After field dressing all three antelope & comparing the exit wounds side by side, I think the Accubond expands like the Partition. I have seen tons of antelope shot with the Partition in years past. Just comparing the three antelope I would say the accubond is just another good bullet to choose from. I hope to test the Accubond on one more antelope, 4-deer & 2-elk this year. So far it looks like I am a winner either way?
