I had bear once and that was one time too many. It was horrible. And my friend had just the right recipe. He cooked for two and a half days. I will not shoot a bear unless he is trying to hurt me.

As to big bears killing small ones, that is true. However, the way I heard it was that the male will kill the cubs to bring the female into heat, so they can mate with them.
