Ardesa of Spain still makes a .58 caliber blunderbuss which is one of the only factory percussion models that I've ever seen available. But at a cost of about $500-$600+ they're fairly expensive. But as far as payloads go, any 12 gauge shotgun could propel a larger load of shot or buck shot. It's just a smoothbore with a short barrel and a cylinder choke. The loading funnel does make it look cool and faster to reload, while the short barrel makes it awfully handy for brush hunting. I wanted one for a long time too but due to other shooting interests, I also postponed buying one when I did have the chance. Alas, finding another one for sale would be extremely difficult since very few are imported.
