Our Walmart has the black thumbhole stock Optima for $199 on clearance with the stainless barrel. It's been on clearance since last black powder season and they still haven't sold it. The one up the road has one too for the same price. I'm wondering if that's what you are seeing as prices seemed to vary slightly from one Walmart to the next. I've thought about buying one of these, but I've handled it several times and I can't get over the way it feels. Everything about it just feels cheap to me, and each time I've set it back. I also don't like this "thumbhole" stock at all. It feels really weird to me.

I know some guys like them though, so you may like it. It's worth checking out and forming your own opinion on.
