we are not allowed to hunt over bait in Alabama but we do bait preseason for pics and some just around our house during the yr just to see what we have in our back yard... there is a lot of stuff out there that is sold that will attract deer other than corn but there is a reason that everyone else is using it! I dont know of anything that will bring deer out of the wood work better than a good ole pile of corn! But if you are dead set on something different i would suggest Black Magic or Deer CO caine powder... or use this along with ur corn pile... it will last llonger than the corn will and give deer a reason to come in even once the corn is gone
