I can only comment about the quality and longevity of my L.L. Beaner. As I'm not sure of what model I have...

I have a 12+ year old vest that was $20-30 more than others. It has held up nicely and looks nicer than all my hunting buddies. Of course they are uglier anyways so not hard to beat...

I don't believe you can go wrong...
