Now that alcohol vs. spit thing is interesting. I've been using alcohol exclusively for the last two years. So now you've got me thinking. I play around with the powder charge, different powders, powder compression, and different sabots when trying to get a bullet to shoot the way I think it should, and sometimes can't get there. But never even considered the bore swabbing medium. DANG! Another thing to add to the list.
