Of the two you mentioned I would definitely go with the Browning. I like the Remington. But I would not give you a nickel for that SPS stock.

However I do question your prices. That price for the Remington sounds too high. And that price for the Browning sounds too low. If you can buy that Browning for that price then IMO you better go buy it tomorrow.

I like your scope choice for the price that Leupold costs. They have a great warranty(the best there is). Decent glass. And will last you a lifetime.

As for the mounts, any good quality mount is going to work on a 30-06 on a good quality rifle. Pick the ones you like. Tom.
