I like to be in my stand at least 30 minutes before daybreak. That means some early mornings, but it means I'm ready in place to ambush the deer that others push around as they come in.

Thankfully I got my buck opening morning this year because I spooked out some deer on the second morning who bedded down by my stand. I never saw a deer on Sunday.
