Default RE: East Coast Tuna

New Jersey/Delaware: guys are limiting out in the Canyons. First it was the Lindenkohl now it' s the Wilmington. The bluefin bite is fantastic at the Elephant Trunk now, too. Supposedly there are a lot of false albacore and bonito between the 4 Fathom Bank and The East Lump but I could produce nothing on Wednesday trolling this area with Clark spoons and Gotcha plugs. They are also hooking some marlin and a good deal of swords at the Wilmington. A mako is still encountered here and there. The mahi bite is consistent and a couple of big wahoos are around, too. I think a guy from PA just got a state record wahoo recently (98lbs, I think). A thresher shark was caught within 20 miles of the beach last week, too.
