Pluckit - I was having the same question run around in my head not very long ago. I also opted for the 1:70. And I am glad I did. That barrel really shoots (see my recent post). I felt that getting those heavy conicals started out the barrel would not make it a fun gun to shoot. Now I am not recoil shy. But I don't like getting the snot knocked out of me either. My 90 gr load of FFg sends that 225 gr PRB down range with enough "juice" to stop just about anything I want to shoot at.
