I think you're conidering the free-float a little too seriously. If you want to float it, just sand the barrel channel open. (Most factory free-floats don't have enough float as it is anyways
) If you're slow that might take you 5 minutes.
I'd opt 700, and the 7mm-08. Iffin she can't handle it, teach her, cause that's on the low end of recoil.
