I use Energizer Lithiums which are $22 per 12pack.
I don't replace batteries but 1-2x a yr in my cams and they are out 10-11months a year.
I only plan on keeping the camera out up to the middle of September or so, so if I get to that point and can spend 20 bucks or so I can live with that amount spent as compared to spending 250.00 to 350.00 for a better camera. My goal is to establish the movement of two particular Bucks I hope to get a shot at in the early bow season here in Indiana. I have only killed one Buck in my first two seasons of hunting so my goals are modest as regards how big a Buck must be to go up in size compared to my first kill. My 8 Pointer who lives in the area I'm hunting this fall would be a trophy to me,the 10 pointer an even bigger trophey but he is hard to get a shot at due to his nocturnal habits. So 2 1/2 months or so of camera use is a reasonable exspense to me.
