The best shooting rifle that I own is a Mauser made for the 1932 Swedish army rifle team. It is #803 of a run of 1000. It is chambered in 6.5x55 SE. Unfortunately it was sported some decades ago, but fortunately excellently done. I do not have the original military hardware. It will shoot a legitimate .25 MOA, essentially a clover leaf, when using a particular hand load that I worked up. I do not use it to hunt.
The two that I hunt with, a semi-customized Remington Mod. 700 in 300 Win. Mag. or a Styer Pro Hunter in 308 Win. are both sub 1 MOA shooters. each of these three are far better shooters than am I, that is for sure !
