I usually use one of my two Double Bull chairs, they
are light to carry in my blind' s bag and they give
me freedom of movement when a shot presents
itself (I use it for bowhunting only). I do have to
admit I' ve spent many days sitting daylight to dark -
and they are not built for ' all day comfort' , by the
end of the day I might as well be sitting on a
coffee can[X(].
I do have a larger chair that is more comfortable
and has armrests - it' s called a " Ugly Stick" - I
don' t know where the name comes from, but I
did buy it at my bowshop. It' s a bit noisier, as well
as, difficult to manuever for a shot - both big drawbacks
when hunting with a bow.
One thing I forgot to mention is I always take along
a cushion (about 1-2" thick) to sit on. You can buy
one just about anywhere and they come with a
little strap that will attach to your belt. Comes in
real handy if you' re planning on putting in a lot
of time
