Man I love this sport, and it is on my mind all the time, but I also love the animals I shoot. With that comes a big soft spot for them too. That right there although exciting and what it is all about was somewhat, alright I will admit it, it WAS tough to watch. He fought so hard to just stay alive and get with the rest of the deer, but could not do it. I know they are just animals but when he finally went down and was laying there still struggling to stay alive I felt like he did not want to be alone and wanted some help. I have all the respect in the world for deer and I constantly make sure I am doing everything I can to be the most ethical hunter I can be. I do not want to see deer being taken out by hunters who are in it for the wrong reasons. I am not wanting to step on other peoples feet, I do not want to tell people how to hunt, but I just think every hunter should have respect for the animal. Also, this hunter did everything right I am sure he didn't want to watch that deer struggle like he did either. I know haha, I am being really mushy and going on but I had to let some of it out for my sake to better cope with what I am doing. Haha, sorry for whoever reads this.
