Pyro is fine if it works in your gun. It burns much cleaner than BP.

When I use Pyro I make sure to lean the gun in the direction of the nipple and bang on the barrel to get the powder to into the flash channel. If I forget i'll get a delayed fire sometimes.

Other than that. Pyro works good. Try to shoot it up though. I don't feel it has a long shelf life.
