Is it not the law that a handgun cannot legally be posessed by a new owner until that person has filled out transfer of ownership forms at a licensed FFL owner's, and been run throught the criminal backround check?? If this hasn't been done, people may be getting into a nasty situation with the law.
Nope- unless there is a state law requiring handgun registration. The only federal law only bars sales across state lines for handguns without going through a FFL, with the exception of some family members.
A $30 revolver might be an outstanding price if its an old S&W, Ruger, or Colt, probably only a fair deal if its anything else.
