Actually, one of the biggest probs I have is the wire pin-retainer. On a narrow tree, it catches my clothes and makes noise. I will change it out for some other method, but I want it easier standing up when a deer is near as well. I' m just trying to avoid spending $2-300 for a new climber. I really like the comfort of this climber. I like the idea of a traction belt that could be more easily adjusted for leveling while climbing than the pin setup. These swampy trees have such huge bases and narrow considerably as they go up. You have to set it up almost over your head and at a steep angle to make it level at the height you want. I am loathe to pull pins at 25 feet to level it out.
