#11 Mag caps work very in a Remington... You may have to replace the Remington hammer spring with an aftermarket spring as the Remington spring gets weak quickly.

When you get the gun - be sure and take the bolt apart and check the insides... If the owner did not do his maintenance it might be in tough shape.

You are going to need to get a #11 capper...

About the only way to get a hammer is buy a 209 kit - but do not buy a Remington Kit!!!
