In NC there is no gun hunting on Sunday so I wanted to get a crossbow for my daughter and I to use so we could hunt the weekend. I hunt with her and she is 15 and would use it most of the time and I occocasionally. I know nothing about crossbows. 100% gun up to this point. Whitetail would be the target.

I am only getting one crossbow, Any help on how to select a crossbow and any specific recommendations would be appreciated. My budget is around $500 for a complete set-up. Thanks
