Correct me if I am wrong. I think if you have a bull that close you should be holding your bottom pin on the kill zone? Your 20-yard pin will make you shoot high every time at that close-up in your face range.

You almost got it right. EXCEPT, you use your longer yardage pin to aim because your 20 yard will make you shoot
LOW But even with that, it depends on the shooter and the anchor and the form and etc. You should practice it and you' ll know. Some people have to make the adjustment at 10 yards, some closer. I don' t worry about it until under 10 or straight down.
