Sannadex is a locally manufactured brand of black powder, characterized by its pinkish color.
It is made from dextrose (sugar) and is a cheaper, synthetic substitute to black powder.
Sannadex is extremely hygroscopic, which causes its efficiency to deteriorate over time. This however can be overcome by storing the Sannadex in an airtight container and keeping it away from sources of moisture. It is completely water soluble and makes an excellent plant fertilizer.
Sannadex burns a lot cleaner than conventional black powder, allowing you to be able to shoot more shots before cleaning the barrel of your rifle.
It is less dense than conventional black powder, thus a higher load of Sannadex will be needed to have the same effect as the same amount of conventional black powder.
Sannadex is available in Pistol and Rifle grain, pistol grain being finer than rifle grain. Pistol grain burns faster than rifle grain, and is therefore more suited for small caliber rifles and pistols.

It is made on the same principle as APP works in flint locks and has more potential energy due to a better formula.
There are some people using it in missouri, I hope it becomes available here, it is always fun to have something new to play with and for people that have trouble getting black powder for flint locks it would be very helpful.
